King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1

Last night in lower Mississippi I was fortunate enough to play to some of the best music friends, fans, and all around family in the world. They know what it’s all about and they understand the importance of music in such a crazy world. Everyone has something crazy going on or has had some fight in their past. To be able to break away from it all for a weekend and spend it with like minded folks is such a rare and special occasion. Wigginstock is such an event, a private one at that, with people traveling from all corners of this country for a few days in the south with some of thier favorite bands, great food, and most of all great company. Cheers to all of y’all for being so kind and giving and for listening and supporting so many bands and songwriters.

Today, good Lord willin, I’ll be sitting in with my friends from Muscle Shoals, Lauderdale, and singing a sweet little cover song and getting to sit in a field and listen to everyone from the Flint Hill Specials, to the District Attorneys, all the way to Centro-matic. Of course there’ll be some great food thrown in the mix as well.

Sending everyone love from a house, on a creek, in the woods, in lower Mississippi. Have a great weekend wandering through the day where ever you may be and put on a soundtrack for your day and share it with your loved ones.
